Fourth-tier Newport County claim Juventus will use their scouting report on Tottenham Hotspur for next week’s Champions League last-16 tie.

Newport play in the EFL League Two but nonetheless held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup fourth round, forcing the Premier League club into a replay, which will be contested on Wednesday evening.

“[Juve scout Roberto Bosco] could not believe we had drawn with Tottenham 1-1 but he saw the report and said: ‘this is fantastic’,” Chief scout Paul Molesworth told The Mirror.

“He saw enough from the game and the report to make him believe that Juventus will beat Tottenham.”

The newspaper reports “the scouting masterplan” read how Eric Dier was “one-paced”, Mousa Dembele was ‘niggly’ under pressure and that Davinson Sanchez was also “seen a weakness”.
    Interesting article.

Apparently we are aware exactly of where and how to hit them.

I will try to remember this article on Tuesday, will be interesting to see if the scouting report is indeed true or not, imo it does seem exactly like Max's method, identifying their strengths/weaknesses while preparing Juve in a way that will cancel/confuse Spurs out of the game.

True, that could be one of our biggest question marks going into this first leg.

Injuries might play a part that's for sure but personally i just hope and trust that those on the pitch will live up to the standard because this game is more or less ours to lose.

Yeah I read it but it sounds like BS to me
Before the Real Madrid game they said Real have found 7 ways of hurting us something like that.. In truth they did beat us but I doubt it had to do with that 7 ways crap.. Its just a way to shake your confidence IMO

Actually, Newport's report is reasonably accurate. It tells you that some of our players are better than others etc. But there's nothing in there that Juventus wouldn't have already known, just by watching a few of our games.

The Sun have published the full report here. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...-cup-revealed/

Can't help but think of Di Maria in a Jogging-Anzug.
