How many points will Hamilton have ahead of the second driver? That is the only thing that is exciting about this sport nowadays.

Ferrari need to back this up next race, the gap seems to be lessened, the undercut didn't work like it did in previous years for McLaren

Encouraging start to the season.

Positives:
- Vettel showed genuine pace. The undercut was a factor but the fact that he was on Hamilton's tail in dirty air and pulled away when in front showed he had the fastest car on Sunday.
- The Ferrari seems easier on the tyre than Mercedes. Although Hamilton not being able to manage his tyres is nothing new.

Negatives:
- Ferrari's race pace didn't show up in qualifying and overtaking looks to be more difficult this season. They can't really on pit stops every race.
- Raikkonen was off the pace.
- Verstappen showed good pace at the end which is encouraging that Red Bull could maybe challenge this season. Given the past few seasons, the more teams competing the better.

I'm glad that Vettel won, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high, the championship is still Hamilton's to lose.

Why is that a negative then?
