We have better, he's called Alex Sandro. We aren't going to sign two Alex Sandro's to play the same position.

Yes It's better to have a defensively-solid rotation option for Sandro in the LB position, after all that's all we need in that position.

Why not? We have three world-class players for the right side and they are versatile, covering many other positions when needed. The way I look at new LB/LWB, he should be young and with lots of potential. If he has 2-3 years of experience on top level, even better. We have 400 million revenue. We can buy quality and talent.

Alex Sandro is just too good, the guys on the right side are not the same level. They're not world class, only in moments. Both Lichtsteiner and Dani Alves are in decline, and Cuadrado is too inconsistent.

Ufff, it was long ago, Osman. I don't remember any details of him playing a LB back in 2005/06. I remember well, though, how thrilled we all were after his first performances as a CB in serie B. It was like a normal player suddenly becoming a beast. Kinda like Lemina now becoming a world class attacking midfielder.

Not details perse but the lack of quality as fullback even if he had promising qualities. Recall you pointing out how limited was in that position whenever someone tried to sugarcoat it.

But yeah thank God he became a beast with position change.

Which club has the same luxe-position as Juve on the right side with Cuadrado, Dani Alves and Lichtsteiner?
I think no club, but there are clubs with better right-backs offcourse, but a less depth on that spot.

Don't want this guy to be honest. I prefer even a youth player above mediocre money waste.

He is German born and raised with Bosnian heritage. Solid in defense and dynamic going forwards, but with weaknesses when it comes to technique and ball control. He is versatile and for free defenitely worth to take a punt.

If we take Goretzka too would be perfect. Too bad their SD from back then is gone, would love to hear his bitching
The only one, who was bitchy clearly was Marotta. Trying to get Draxler by making laughable offers and then wondering about the response of Heldt. After it, he has tried to blame Draxler for it, but the reality was obviously his penny pinching approach and that he didnt pay the necessary fee. Heldt did everything right and just told it how it was and he got the 40m€ he wanted and it is even more now, as Schalke ll receive another sum after the sell to Paris. In the end, Schalke got around 45m€ for him.

Yeah technique and ball control is true, recall first time I saw him I thought he was a CB playing fullback, ala clumsy Höwedes. But he improved a bit since then.
