    Good job!

I am 10 games in with RBL, managed to get some points and we are in fifth position atm. But I don't think it will last long. Mainly luck and Farfan that has powered us through. If we can continue to gather points we should be able to avoid the relegation battle. Btw, Leverkusen is dead last.

Anybody signed Morata in this? Is he worth the big price tag? Im looking to use him as a lone FW with role of either CF or AF and he needs to be prolific enough to be my vice higuain

11 vidals should hands down have won that.
The F1 remains as of 2013 one of the fastest production cars ever made; as of July 2013 it is succeeded by very few cars including the Koenigsegg Agera R, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT,and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. However, all of the superior top speed machines use forced induction to reach their top speeds, whereas the McLaren F1 is naturally aspirated.

    Lewis Cook.

Melegoni > Locatelli in long run.

    Football Manager 2017

Has anyone here had bad luck managing international teams?

I had a seriously awesome run managing multiple clubs in the career mode, but an equally awful run managing Italy.

Got hired 3 times. Got fired 3 times. 3 world cups. Out before the QFs every time.

And what the $#@! is up with the German NT and Football Manager? Is there a way around that?

Can someone elaborate on how s/he developed a working 4-2-3-1 system? I've tried for a long time but cannot develop consistent performance. I would really not mind going into details and I am eager to learn!

4-2-3-1 formation can be deadly if you have proper players for it. In my opinion, it should be used with control mentality and lower tempo. That means bigger possession, more accurate passes and that's what you want to hear when you're playing without DM. Also, I'd play on offside traps and at least one BPD. In midfield, I'd go with one holding mid. Either CM-d with B2B/DLP-S or DLP-D with B2B/BWM-S. In AM, I'd go with AM-A if you have striker on support duty. If the striker is on Attack duty, I'd give him ADP-S role. Wingers depends on what type of players you have. It make sense to combine IF with WB behind them to create overlap and W with FB, to avoid having two wide players who will hug touchline. I usually play narrow formations or 4-3-3 when playing with wingers. I make a switch to 4-2-3-1 only when I have beast team. If not, it's a big gamble.

Here are screen shots of my 4-2-3-1. This is the setup and instructions I use in a majority of games. You will need a very good striker to make this work, one who can play CF role, has strong technical and physical attributes to contribute to build up and capable of scoring a majority of your goals. Higuain, Belotti, Berardi and especially Kean have all managed to play this role successfully for me. The inside forward will need to be a capable finisher as well.

Have your GK distribute the ball to the fullbacks, your fullbacks will have to be technical, capable of getting forward frequently and running with the ball so they can be the link that takes the ball out of your defensive third forward without just giving away possession. At least one of your CBs should be a capable passer as well. This system is at risk for picking up a lot of fouls but there are ways you can mitigate this. Your two CMs have to be good decision makers, their morale kept high and in a proper state mentally or they will pick up cards constantly and all four of your attacking players should be set to ease off tackles.

I play this setup for all my home games and also for away games against weaker opposition. When playing away against opposition that is decent or have a lot of players high up the pitch I will get rid of "Prevent short gk distribution" and change closing down from "more" to "sometimes" to avoid committing too many fouls

I also occasionally play a counter attacking mentality in away games. This I use rarely, only reserved for very tough away games. With this setup I use two wingers and no Inside FW.

I leave my player instructions pretty much the same as attacking except I change my fullbacks from "get further forward" to "hold position"

With this setup I have played eight seasons winning the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Italian supercup every year. I have been to the Champions League final five times and won three of them. I could have won more CLs but Manchester United is a monster in my save game and theyve knocked me out of the CL on several occasions. They've bought some of the best players in the world combined with insane youth players the game has created for them, I think they are the only team in the game right now that can actually beat me over a two leg tie. My CL campaigns of late have all been decided by when I inevitably face them.

How do you guys develop your youth players? Do you loan them out or keep them around only to play as backups? I've always struggled to develop players to their full potential

Experienced first tycoon takeover and I'm playing this $#@! since CM 01/02. It's crazy. Managing Edinburgh City from Scottish League Two (4th div)

Spent two years in L2 and L1, got promoted from Championship to SPL first season. Slovakian tycoon arrived after 1st season in SPL in which I finished 9th. He pumped 39m to balance and I had around 20m TB. Spent 18m for 18 players. Paid 7.5m for one guy, other came for peanuts. Won the league straight away. Celtic are still stronger than me, but they failed miserably and finished 3rd. Hearts are a top team, won the league before me, now they're on spending spree and next season will be tough. Rangers had a very bad season, failed to make Top 6. Don't understand how they $#@!ed up, they have solid players. Anyways, getting ready for my debut in CL. Slovakian dude is not helping me financially now, it was a one season thing, so I have to be smart in transfer market. Improving my facilities slowly but surely. Had poor, both of them, at start. By far the worst team in Scottish leagues.

Started with SLF rep and without licence, now studying for Continental B.
