We are 3 months into the season and Allegri has started Berna twice; and it's not like Berna has flopped when given the opportunity. He was one of our best players on the pitch in the two games he's started, scored in both.

Allegri is just so stubborn and it's infuriating to watch.

So he should bench players that have been working for the starting spots for at least 2 years because Berna has waited for 3 months already? Mind you even Higuain started on bench and he came to Juve as undoubtedly the best player in the league.

It doesn't matter how long you've been here. The starting eleven should be picked on footballing ability and not on hierarchy.

Allegri's slow integration philosophy is useless, just play your best players ffs. Remember when we started Asamoah in midfield against Sevilla last year because Pjanic was still too new? Embarrassing!

I have seen enough of Cuadrado and Mandzukic to know that they will never be elite players. They are both in the prime of their career right now and still blow hot and cold. They are decent but nothing more. They would be squad players at best in other top teams.

Berna might become a top player, he might not, but until Allegri gives him a run of games instead of subbing him on with 4 minutes remaining we'll never find out.

Yeah, Allegri's slow integretion philosophy has been utterly disastrous. It has cost us time and time again these past few seasons.

Hierarchy is important. It's only natural that you have ups and downs as a human being. A coach cannot bench a player immediately after stepping a foot wrong because it has a bad psychological effect on a player. He would be afraid to take risks on the pitch. It's funny you say Cuadrado and Mandzukic are not elite players while they've been saving our asses on numerous occasions. Mandzukic is being praised by everyone basically, within and outside the club. Cuadrado has been arguably our most reliable player this season. While Berna only played against weak opposition or had some cameos. I didn't see him changing the game against Barcelona for example after he was introduced in the second half. It's always easier to perform when there is less pressure. I also have some hope for Fede but currently there is no reason to bench anyone in his favor.

I’m glad Marchisio is back. Everyone plays better with him on the pitch.

    Allegri to quit Coaches' Association?
    By Football Italia staff

There are reports Juventus boss Max Allegri could quit the Italian Coaches’ Association in protest over Renzo Ulivieri’s defence of Carlo Tavecchio.

Former Bologna tactician Ulivieri is the President of the Italian Coaches’ Association, a union of managers.

There are wide calls for current FIGC President Tavecchio to resign after Italy boss Giampiero Ventura was sacked for failing to reach the 2018 World Cup.

Probably the lone voice defending Tavecchio and his intention to remain was Ulivieri.

He also declared that the chief of the CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) Giovanni Malagň was “no longer recognised as my boss” after demanding Tavecchio resign.

According to the Corriere dello Sport this morning, Juventus Coach Allegri is prepared to quit the Association and many more of his colleagues could follow.

Ulivieri’s vote proved decisive to get Tavecchio re-elected as President of the Federation and the 76-year-old is also Vice-President of the FIGC.

    2017/2018 - 15 injuries.
    2015/2016 - 64 injuries.

The question is whether mandzukic and cuadrado are our best choices for lw and rw when bernadeschi and costa are in the squad. Costa is better than mandzukic as a winger. Bernadeschi in my opinion has more skillset to offer than cuadrado. The reality is both mandzukic and cuadrado start because allegri plays this ridicuolously flawed 4231 formation that relies on our wingers to do the hard work in midfield. You dont see players like messi neymar ronaldo and other wide attackers doing the hard work like mandzukic for example cuz the teams they play ensure fhe midfield and defense is well balanced.

Change the formation, balance the midfield, make the hard call and bench who needs to be benched to ensure we are well balanced as a team and have players on the field who will take us to the next level.

Please dont say the 4231 got us to a cl final cuz it is exactly what made us lose it as well.
