Legia Warsaw is the new champion of Poland.

Why is this interesting? Maybe some of you know that Legia are supposedly allies with Juventus (and Den Haag).
Legia Warsaw ultras are one of the best in Poland (if not the best) & best organized.

We can often see guests from Juventus fan groups here, there are also some Juve banners on the Legia Stadium (and Legia banners on Juventus Stadium as well i think).
One of the banners:

Check out the final of the Mexican league from last night.
Cruz Azul 1-0 up from the 1st leg, America get a man sent off in the 1st half for a last man foul before Cruz Azul go 2-0 up on aggregate. They then dominate the 2nd half including hitting a double post as the fist shot rebounds onto the leg of the man following up at the back stick & hits the same post again.
In the 88th minute America's man-mountain of a captain gets up to put in a superb header & it's 1-1 on the night, 2-1 to Cruz Azul on aggregate. Then, 2.5 minutes into the 3 minutes of injury time America win a corner & up comes the keeper, and yes, you've guessed it, totally unmarked puts a diving header in to tie things up. Extra time!
Cruz Azul, having been 30 seconds away from being crowned champions are visibly just totally crushed. America dominate extra time, making Cruz Azul look like they're the team with 10 men! Only their keeper, Corona making a string of unbelievable saves keeps them in it, and the game goes to penalties.
Cruz Azul miss their 1st two including a slip on the rain soaked pitch that balloons over the bar, whilst America look calm & collected in front of their home fans with each one. Cruz Azul recover to score their next two, but America have scored all three, and although Corona gets a big hand to the ball the forth penalty still slips into the bottom left hand corner and America are Mexican league champions against all the odds!

An Argentine soccer player was expelled from a minor league game and fired from his team for mistreating a dog that wandered onto the field.

Fox Sports de Argentina broadcast images on Tuesday showing the player use both hands to grab the mid-size black-and-white dog by the collar and throw it toward the bleachers during the game. The dog struck a chain-link fence and fell down, but quickly got up and ran away.

The referee flashed a red penalty card at the player, Jose Gimenez, signaling his expulsion from the game between his Bella Vista team and the San Juan team in Tucuman province, which is about 1,300 kilometers (800 miles) north of Buenos Aires.

Gimenez told the newspaper Gazeta de Tucuman that he later felt ashamed by what he did and said he had been fired from the team.

The player said he had a hard time trying to explain to his 3-year-old son "why I had choked a doggie on TV.''

He said he decided to deal with the dog because no one else was trying to get it off the field, "but it wasn't my intention for this to occur.''

Still, Gimenez complained about the attention caused by the case. "So many things occur in soccer that do not have such repercussions,'' he said.

    It is.

Chelsea bought him for 10mln from an investment group and loaned him to Benfica.

Sulejmani, Mitrovic, another Matic and Djuricic also signed for them :lol2:

Sucked that hard during his time at Ajax that he barely played. Was signed for a record fee (16M)

Awful player he is. Doesn't count as an actual football player

    - PSV made an offer for Maher.

    - After Mertens (Napoli) and Lens (D. Kiev), Toivonen is the next who might leave PSV. Probably for an EPL team.

    - Also Strootman might leave, if he leaves, PSV is considering getting Schaars back from Sporting Portugal.

    - Ajax might loose De Jong to Munchengladbach, they already gave Luuk and are also considering an offer for Siem.

    - Chadli prefers EPL over Shaktar Donetsk so he put his possible transfer to Ukraine on hold

    - Eriksen seems on his way out of Ajax, but to where? Dortmund is rumoured, but they seem to prefer De Bruyne over Eriksen.

Anderlecht agreed a contract with Van den Borre.
2-year deal. If he manages to get things straight in his head, great signing for Anderlecht, and for our NT since he has the potential to solve our RB problem.
