Antonio Conte assembled his troops in Vinovo this afternoon to continue preparations for this weekend’s visit of Siena to Juventus Stadium.
Having battled to lift themselves out of the relegation zone for large spells of the current campaign, Sunday’s opponents have experienced a recent upturn in their fortunes as they bid to guarantee Serie A football for a third consecutive campaign.
Since edging out Sampdoria in January’s tightly contested 1-0 victory at the Artemio Franchi, Giuseppe Iachini’s side have gone on to collect ten points from five games and claim notable scalps in Inter and Lazio along the way.
Mindful of the momentum possessed by the resurgent Tuscan outfit, Conte gathered his men on the training ground as he intensified preparations for Sunday’s sell-out clash.
Athletic drills, technical exercises and a heavy focus on tactical work formed the basis of this afternoon’s two-hour session, which drew to a close shortly after 5pm.
The Bianconeri are scheduled to return to Juventus Center at 11.30am tomorrow.
