Kwadwo Asamoah will kick-off his African Cup of Nations campaign when Ghana take on Congo at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium this afternoon.
The 24-year-old midfielder is joined in Kwesi Appiah’s tournament squad by fellow Juventus man Richmond Boakye, currently on loan at Serie B side Sassuolo.
Ghana have been placed into Group B alongside Mali, Niger and Congo. The Black Stars are due to play Mali on Thursday 24 January and Niger on Monday 28 January.
