Important accolades keep coming thick and fast for Juventus. After May’s thrilling Scudetto victory, built upon an unforgettable 38-game unbeaten championship campaign, the club is continuing to break significant barriers and enhance its profile both on and off the field.
This time it’s the turn of the official Juventus Facebook page, which yesterday reached four million fans - less than 14 months following its launch into cyberspace.
Unsurprisingly, the boom came on Sunday 6 May, when the Bianconeri mathematically sealed their 30[SUP]th[/SUP] Scudetto after overcoming Cagliari 2-0 in Trieste. The celebratory video obtained over 100,000 likes, 66,000 shares and 10,000 comments.
These impressive figures are further enhanced by the overall participation statistics. Over two million are ‘active’ on the page, leaving comments, sharing posts and ‘liking’ a variety of content produced by the club’s media team.
The success can be put down to Juve’s phenomenal worldwide appeal. Italian fans make up less than half of the total number, followed by supporters from Indonesia, United States, Mexico and Egypt.
Even more notable is the presence of Indonesian capital – Jakarta - alongside Rome, Turin, Cairo and Palermo in the top five cities of Bianconeri fans.
The location of supporters can also be monitored on the ‘Juventus Fan Map’, a recently launched application allowing every fan to pinpoint their exact location, upload their photo and show their affection for the team. If you have yet to tag yourself, you can do so now by visiting the page https://www.facebook.com/Juventus/app_173590476101224

Juventus finally reached 7m fans on facebook, still ridiculously behind Milan (16.3m).
Facebook scudetto again for them.

One can almost hear the celebrations going on in the streets of Milan.

Zapata: "I've given my everything for this Facebook page. We're a young group but we are on the right track and hopefully we'll be able to compete on Twitter next year as well"

Abbiati: "Conte demands hard work? I've liked so many things on our page that my hands are falling apart. Might've cost us a goal against PSV but winning this is definitely something special and I thank Allegri for sharing, commenting and liking pretty much all our activities on Facebook.
