    Kwadwo Asamoah

Date of birth December 9, 1988 (age 23)
Place of birth Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
    Height 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in)
    Weight 78 kg
Playing position Centre / Left Midfielder

Kojo "Kwadwo" Asamoah (born December 9, 1988)[2] is a Ghanaian professional footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Udinese in Italy and the Ghana national team

    Club career

    Early career

Asamoah was scouted playing for a local based club Depotivo F.C. which belongs to Kamara and was recommended by the scout Mr. Charles Mensah Gapson to Alhaji Sly Tetteh, CEO of Liberty Professionals.

    Udinese

In the January 2008 transfer window, he was signed by AC Bellinzona and loaned out to Torino F.C. In fact, Udinese borrowed the non-EU registration quota from Torino in order to sign him, as the club already signed Mauricio Isla that season.

Asamoah made his debut on 11 January 2009 against U.C. Sampdoria, and scored his first goal for Udinese on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Asamoah’s angled shot on 9 minutes at the end of a quick counter attack for his first goal, a reward for a season during which he has increasingly become important to Udinese with his strong tackling, close ball control and ability to pick the right pass. Udinese went on to beat Fiorentina 3–1 at Stadio Friuli, the home of Udinese. Udinese have the option to make his signing permanent at the end of the season for 800,000 euros. He has quickly adapted to Italian football and has maintained a position in the starting lineup under coach Marino.

    International career

He gained his first national call-up after debuting for Liberty Professionals in the 2006/2007 Onetouch Premiership when Sir. Cecil Jones Attuquayefio called into the National Olympic Football Team.

He was called up for the Ghanaian national side for the first time as part of his countries 2008 African Cup of Nations which took place on home soil. He was given the number 10 shirt, normally reserved for captain Stephen Appiah who missed the tournament due to injury.

Although he did not see any playing time in the tournament, he was about to come on as a substitute in the 3rd place playoff against Ivory Coast in Kumasi but could not do so due to an injury to Eric Addo but was made to go back to the subs bench only to be replaced by Ahmed Barusso.

He played every match at the 2010 FIFA World Cup for Ghana where they were knocked out in the quarter finals by Uruguay.

congrats nick your first good guess
Andrea Agnelli: Four years ago we were in my office and Claudio told me with a great deal of honesty that he wouldn't want to be one of the few players who didn't win anything at Juventus. I replied that I didn't want to be the only Agnelli who didn't bring any silverware to the club. The rest is history.

World Cup 2014, Marchisio - the stupid and nasty red card -- http://gfycat.com/WickedCreamyCero --

Marchisio is an injury prone, can not shoot, can not dribble and can not tackle. All he can do (for Juve benefit) is to imitate Storari role last couple years with us. That is become a team morale booster, a decent player when subbed in, a friendly player to fan. Otherwise I can see him play for Chievo next year along with Pepe.

What did I say, the guy is an injury prone

Not a player I rate as highly as most here do.

He'll need to go through the same period of calming down and becoming more controlled in his play that Vidal did to be really useful.

    Still a good transfer, though.
