Juventus achieved ten championship wins in Cagliari. A particular detail is that just once they managed to overcome the Sardinians by scoring more than one goal: it occurred in 2010/11 season, when the Bianconeri won 1-3, Matri (with a double) and Toni being on the scoresheet.
The 0-1 result occurred over seven championships.
The first time is dated back to 9 March 1969: the match winner was Pietro Anastasi who beat Gigi Riva in a special duel. Both players featured in the national side. In particular, in 1968, they were decisive in the final against Yugoslavia, which allowed Italy to lift the European competition cup.
In 1973, Altafini was on the scoresheet, taking advantage of a mistake from Comunardo Niccolai (who became a notorious defender due to the large amount of own-goals).
In 1975/76 season, Bobo Gori scored against his former side (he played at Cagliari when the team from Sardinia clinched the title in 1970).
When Juventus achieved the Scudetto and Italy lifted the World cup (1982), Marco Tardelli scored for Juve on 27 minutes.
In 1994, when the Rossoblu overcame Juventus excluding them from the UEFA Cup competition, the Bianconeri conquered the ‘Sant’Elia’ thanks to Fabrizio Ravanelli from the spot.
In the season of the new millennium (1999/2000), the first away game for the Bianconeri managed by Ancelotti took place in Cagliari. Antonio Conte was the match winner.
Finally, in 2008/09, Amauri was decisive as well as Manninger, whose wonderful save ensured the three points clinched by the side led by Claudio Ranieri.
