Maybe your other computer with the "perfect connection" is booting your other devices off... like Hal 9000 in the movie 2001. :agree:

You're using wireless? Use an ethernet cable and see if you have the same problem.
Yeah, wireless. Yeah, I should try that I guess. That would only tell me if the problem is incompatibility between the computer and the network/router and not actually solve the problem though.

    Serious or no?
Its either your provider or your router
I don't think it's the provider because the other computer doesn't get disconnected. I'm guessing it's the router settings but I don't what exactly.

Make sure you are using WPA encryption and not WEP. Also, try changing the wireless channel 11(it would normally be on 6). Also, the placement of your router is important. Try setting it up in different areas of you're room and see if the quality improves. And make sure there are no obstructions between the router and your devices.

True but if it works you can use the wired connection.

    Did the WPA thing.

I'll try the channel thing tomorrow as the router is set up via my dad's computer.

Tried the router placement thing already.

The router is placed in my dad's room and I don't go there :shifty: Plus, he doesn't really care about my predicament and I wouldn't be able to convince him to move it.
My next suggestion was to call Dhee for support :D
Yeah, I was waiting for his answer.
So is abstaining from sex with Haitians, but not everyone does it. :shifty:
    Trannies. That's all.

Thank you all for your help and if it doesn't work, I will be back to bug you again.

Sounds to me like your dad is stalling your wireless connection with random bursts of downloading porn. :shifty:
