I think this might be a little fun; so make a list of the top 10 songs off the top of your head. It's really hard to be accurate here because there's always going to be a few songs that you realize later on you should have added.

I'm not including Rap personally because I've been listening to Rock a lot longer and have a better idea of what the songs I love most are.

This is mine in no particular order.

10. Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger
9. The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
8. Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
7. Third Eye Blind - Motorcycle Drive By
6. Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark.
5. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb.
4. Dire Straits - Romeo And Juliet
3. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit.
2. Radiohead - Paranoid Android.
1. Bob Marley - No Woman, No Cry.

It doesn't have to be your absolutely best 10 songs ever. I know that's really hard. So say you have 200 favorite songs. Just post 10 of them, randomly.

Really difficult but here's what I came up with, sticking to one track per artist.

    10. The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement
    9. The Jam - Town Called Malice
    8. Reverend and The Makers - 18-30
    7. Bruce Springsteen - The River
    6. Eagles of Death Metal - Wannabe In L.A.
    5. Oasis - Half the World Away
    4. The Stunning - Brewing Up a Storm
    3. Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows
    2. Nirvana - Come As You Are
    1. Arctic Monkeys - Only Ones Who Know

I don't want to :D 80% will probably come just from one band, Incubus. And I still wouldn't know what to pick. And like Swag, it changes all the time.

But keep posting yours so I could give them a listen.

Incubus are great, I should have included 'Talk Shows On Mute' or 'Drive'.

The reason I started this thread was because I thought it would be a good way of exploring new music. The list doesn't have to be your 10 songs for eternity, but just what you feel like are the best now.

This isn't that difficult, is it?:D

Too difficult. This makes my head explode.

Come on, you can do it!

    What these guys said.

Anyway, I'll throw down a few I love:

    Beatles -Revolution
    Oasis - Live Forever
    Oasis - Champagne Supernova
The Jam - To Be Someone
    Beatles - Across the Universe
    Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
    Ian Brown - F.E.A.R
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
    Oasis - Cigarettes and Alcohol
Rolling Stones -Sympathy for the Devil

And that's being leaving out songs I love from those bands and not getting as far as The Smiths, The Verve, The Who or other great stuff.

    Yes it is!

Seriously, I won't be satisfied with my list :D

    But from Incubus, try-

    Megalomaniac
    Black Heart Inertia

    Echo
    Wish You Were Here
    The Warmth

I could go on, but I don't know if you'd want to hear the soft songs or the more rock songs.

I didn't realize there were so many Incubus songs I haven't heard of. I only know 'wish you were here' from that list. I'll give them a listen.
