Neymar's ego is even bigger than Ronaldo's. No surprise that he didn't want to stay in his shadow.

Yes, because Messi was so awesome and carried his team to those finals

Every single time I've watched the tax evading garden gnome $#@! play for his country, he's been incredibly underwhelming. He was anonymous post group stage games in the last World Cup. Argentina made it to the final in spite of him, not because he was carrying them through.

    2010? Germany crushed them.
2014? Nowhere to be seen after the group game against Iran.

And none of the chances Higuain missed in finals (literally just 1 in each match) were created by Messi. In three major international finals Messi has created zilch and missed a penalty in a shootout.

Completely ignoring the fact Ronaldo holds the All-time CL record for both goals and assists. But all he does is score, right?
It's been a prevalent notion. Fallen sparks. Fragments of vessels broken at the Creation. And someday, somehow, before the end, a gathering back to home. A messenger from the Kingdom, arriving at the last moment. But I tell you there is no such message, no such home -- only the millions of last moments . . . nothing more. Our history is an aggregate of last moments.

So, what you're saying is Ronaldo is an Apex Predator with an ego the size of a planet and Messi is a neo-feminist $#@!?

    Ronaldo is... Randy Orton?!

Seriously now how can people compare those 2
One is the best player ever while the other is one of the greats but is probably the biggest winner ever
Messi in terms of contribution is way better than C.Ronaldo but when it comes to money time there isnt a player that is even close to C.Ronaldo...
