The usual suspects is one of my favourate films, Sin City is one of the most over hyped films, frank millers novels are very boring a drab, and as a result, so was sin city. If anyone has seen 'The Spirit' you will see how bad Miller can be.

I caught 'Shine' on tv on holiday on one of my nights of insomnia. A damn good film and very deserving of the awards and reputation it has garnished. Its a shame it over hyped Daniel who is generally seen as not very good in pianist proffession.

Yes, Alba is one of the factors though too obviously. But it's different that's why I wanna watch it again, I haven't seen 'The Spirit' though.

Sin City is indeed hyped & and I can understand why some people don't like it. Calling them (movie or novels) boring is something I can't understand though...

Yes Man - Obviously not the best movie ever, but there were some funny moments. And I am now officialy a fan of Munchausen by Proxy

I found it boring, i cant help it, frank millers universe does nothing to entice me and most of the post i saw the film with. I think i have a special circle of hatred in my heart for frank miller now. I only went to see 'the spirit' because they hadnt done a press screening for it in the uk so there were no reviews saying how bad it was and because there was nothing interesting on. And it was the first and only film i have fallen asleep to in a cinema, i walked out feeling really $#@!ing depressed.

Yes Man was alright, its a shame Carey isnt making many films anymore, he was really funny on snl and his early films.

I like Marv's story in Sin City a lot... the rest was ok. I think the whole "make it look like a comic book" thing has worn out it's welcome. Too bad because there are two more Sin City installments in the future.

Well, that would be awfully fast.

Haven't seen The Spirit so far (went straight to dvd around here if I'm not mistaken) so I can't judge that one yet, but I'm actually looking forward to other Sin City installments, if they ever get made...

    I heard it was average.

Would there be a reasonable quality stream of Inglorious Basterds out yet?

^^^ when i saw the adverts for 'fighting' i felt sad for humanity. That they were releasing films that simple and blatent because of the moron masses. I hoped beyond hopes it was a post modern piece, but as far i can tell it takes itself seriously.

Seven pounds is better. Will Smith was amazing and the movie overall was pretty good.
Pirlo has no equal in Europe, Vidal is a champion. And Marchisio, though little noticed, when he is one hundred per cent [he too] is a champion.
