Initially i didn't count an assist for Camo for Melo's goal against Roma, but the virgilio sport stats count an assist for him so i changed it and i'm counting an assist too. Now Camo has 3 assists.

No Zebina assist for the Bologna goal, because of the fortunate deflection?

After goals from rebounds those players who had shot on target were awarded assists in the past. Lately, only in world cups an assist is counted in such situations while the leagues who keep track on assists don't count them.

Serie A, unfortunately, doesn't keep track on assists and there is no "assists" category so i'm doing this on my own, with the help of virgilio sport, and I think it's stupid to count an assist for that. Zebina never intended to make an assist. He was shooting on goal, the goalkeeper saved it and we were lucky Trez was there to score on the rebound.

FIFA rules for assists count only for FIFA competitions so i'm not using them here (FIFA gives an assist even to the player who was fouled and a goal was scored from the resulting free kick).

So, i'm doing this on my own and since there is nothing "official" regarding assists (there are no official rules in UEFA or serie A that describe what's an assist), i give assist only in those cases where a player is passing the ball to the goalscorer.

P.S: Oh, and i also give an assist to the player who was fouled for a penalty kick (but only in case he's not taking the PK himself). Everyone counts an assist for that (i know EPL and the French league does it too) so i'm also doing it.

Virgilio sport like you said shows assists, no? (atleast top 10-15 best assisters) And btw, if you check tempo reale in Gazzetta, directly after games, you can see who they give assists to or not. But dont know if they store an overall assist stats or such.

Yes, they do, but it's not something official and from different sites you get contradictory info.
So we'll do it here as we think it's right.

Well generally they are right, and its pretty straight forward, I check with corriere and some other sites too, and they basically give the same assists.

But you are concentrating on the Juve players, we watch the games so its fairly easy to figure it out, I look for assists stats for a unique Fantasy league I play. Comes more in handy with games you cant see in overall in the league.

Look on the bright side; he has more minutes under his belt than Chimenti, Manninger, Ariaudo, and Sissoko

Look more carefully and you'll see that one of the 4 is an assist (Roma-Juve).
That's why you see his name 4 times there. 3 times for the 3 goals and once for an assist.
