i wish it was top 10 movies cos there r a few ones that deserve to be mentioned but since it top 5 here is my list.

not in any particular order:

top gun
forrest gump
god father 2
city of god
american history x

Godfather 1 and 2 are probably my favourite films.

I would struggle to just come up with another three but, off the top of my head, Clockwork Orange, American History X and Apocalypse Now are great.

Hounorable mentions to Green Mile, Forest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Full Metal Jacket , Gladiator and heaps of other great films that I can't think of right now.

    I wanted to make top 10 but I thought people would complain how they can't think of 10.

    you can name more of you want just mark first 5 I guess.

    Its a german movie about german u-boat submarine... guys watch das boot ... you will love it. released in 1981 if im not wrong

    Gladiator

    Russel crowe was superb and the movie was great

    God Father 1

    based on orignal novel unlike God father 2 and 3... is a great movie

    The departed

    Leonardo's role was awesome... he performed billy's role very good

    I barely restrained myself when I saw your choice of Notting Hill. :D

    And Braveheart is a decent film, it is just a bit irksome the way that some foreigners take it rather literally and allow it to influence their view of Scotland.
