Found an update about @andrea.zdebski and his story (see previous page) on a polish site and thought you guys will be interested.

    my fast & short translation:

Thanks to the Juve fans from JuvePoland.com Andrzej Zdębski managed to fulfill his 2 dreams: visited Gaetano Scirea's grave and saw Juventus game from JStadium stands.

2017 started for all JuvePoland users in a non-typical way. "My name is Andrea (Andrzej) Zdebski, I am this fourth - survived passenger" - wrote a new user on our forum, claiming that he was the only one to survive a fatal crash from 1989. "My only (and maybe last) wish is to see Gaetano's grave and Juventus club, so little, and yet so much..." he added, uploading a series of photos that confirmed his identity.

Thanks to your generosity we fastly gathered funds to make those dreams happen. Mr. Andrzej decided to work with us despite many offers from different sport editorial boards in Poland. He wanted to stay close to the fans and people for which Juventus' history is important.

We wanted Juventus to know about all of this to make Andrzej's visit unforgetable. Thanks to the good relations between JuvePoland and Juve we received huge support in the form of invitation for a chosen league game.

We've met Andrzej Zdebski on friday, 21st of June in Turin, where he was waiting for us with one of our friends. We used the evening for a short sightseeing and rest. Tomorrow we were supposed to meet Mrs. Scirea at her house in Turin.

Saturday 12.30 we visited Mrs. Mariella. The meeting was full of emotions - it was the first, after 27 years, meeting of Mr. Andrzej and Scirea's widow. "Looks like hair turned gray for both of us..." - she said in italian. She then invited us inside. Her living room was full of family photos and replica's of trophies won by Juventus and Gaetano. With the support of our translators Andrzej managed to talk to Mariella and discuss events of the past. No surprise that we saw tears in the most emotional moments.

Mariella Scirea and Andrzej Zdebski: meeting after 27 years

During the meeting we had a chance to tell Mrs' Mariella about JuvePoland and the circumstances under which we got to know Mr. Andrzej. Mr. Zdebski thanked all Polish fans for the opportunity he had. We were happy to hear that Mrs. Scirea nowadays plays an important role in Juve and is eager to help us with our planned activities, including a documental film. Mr's Mariella gifted us scarfs and showed some of personal memorabilia.

On the same day we went to visit JMuseum as well as the stadium.

On Sunday's morning we planned a trip to Morsasco in Alessandria's province where Gaetano's grave is located. It's a nice small town, 150km from Turin. Everyone knew we were about to see another huge dose of emotions, yet another Andrzej's dream was about to get fulfilled. We were the only people on the small cemetery. We left Mr. Zdebski alone with Gaetano.

Completely different emotions - 19.30 we were again near the Juventus Stadium, this time as the honorary guests of the club. We received invitations for a Club100 tribune - same where Nedved, Marotta and Agnelli are seated. Our seats were just above the tunnel.

Mr. Andrzej could feel like a real VIP. Before the game we were invited to the club's restaurant, then we watched the warm-up and the game itself. We were also able to watch the game from a small TVs mounted in the headrests of the seats ahead of us.

It was a great evening - 4-0 victory against Genoa. Andrzej was able to watch the game from a very close range, see spontaneous reactions of Allegri or jokes of the players on the bench. At HT we were invited for a coffee and after the game for some snacks.

On Monday it was time to say goodbye. We escorted Mr. Andrzej to the airport. He was very thankful for all of this.
