Although Juventus have gone out of their way to ensure that everybody knows that the Frenchman isn’t just a Serie B stop-gap solution, many aren’t sure that the retired midfielder is mature enough to swim with the sharks in Serie A next year.

The Bianconeri are on the verge of confirming their return to the footballing elite after a year spent in Serie B purgatory. The win over Bologna only not sealing the promotion mathematically as there’s still a fixture left to play.

moved closer to Serie A thanks to their win over Bologna on Saturday, but rumours suggest the Frenchman might not be confirmed at the helm of the side, despite the club’s recent support.

Italy’s Il Corriere dello Sport (The Sports Courier) has carried news that Rossi is mulling over a supposed offer made behind the scenes by a Vecchia Signora emissary “I’m still under a two-year contract, the future is still open,” commented the Coach vaguely.

Deschamps himself isn’t taking any of the new reports too much to heart and is focusing on the day-to-day of ensuring that the Turin great makes it back to the elite in style. “My situation hasn’t changed these past three weeks and we're involved in the project to get Juve back up.”

The Frenchman also showed that he as keen on having continuity in the team he played for in the mid to late nineties. ”Then there will be a new plan with other decisions. I have been confirmed in my place as Coach and all that needs to be sorted is the sporting and economic side”, clarified the Coach.

With Lippi still enjoying his well-earned post-WC sabbatical, Delio Rossi is seen by many in Turin as the ideal man to escort the Old Lady back into the elite and reform the squad into a lean, mean Scudetto-hunting machine.

The Coach is currently pocketing in the neighbourhood of half a million Euros with the Biancocelesti. The grapevine is already rustling with rumours that the deal has been greenlighted and that Deschamps is off to OL to replace Houllier – more smoke or real fire this time?

To sum it up in a nutshell we fire DD and sign the lazio coach roman rossi. I personally like this idea i dont like DD's recent performances i know alot of people here have said give him a chance or hes got a weak squad but hes also in a weak league so if he cant lead a weak squad in a weaker league how can he manage a stronger squad in one of the toughest on earth! Also i think a whole season was his chance he's shown he cant sub for crap and doesnt make logical player desicions.

I say give him a chance.

He's done exactly what he was supposed to have done (get us out of B) and now we tell him to take a long walk off a short pier.

In my book that stinks.

Yeah ,thats a good thing to do, show him the door , when he accepted to lead Juve in Seria B , with 30 point deduction (at the time). Nice way of saying thanks to former Juve champion and captain.

I have seen this rumor from serveral places, yes, it is just a rumor which couldn't be true.

DD has done everything he could, what more can we expect from him?
we even gave disgusting Capello two years to waste our team, why not give DD, a person who really loves Juve, one more year!!!
