i have a feeling argentina wont go through on this one, or if they even go, they will not progress far.
What do you expect from a team where the two main midfielders fight?

Did you watch Villarreal - Inter, the second game?

Veron and Sorin had a big fight.

no i didnt watch that game, but now i remember, i read something about that. But to be honest veron is not that important for argentina anymore imo. he didnt play in conf cup if i remember right and not in wc qualification games(well mabey he did, i didnt saw argentina q games, but against brazil he didnt when they won 3:1, and that was probably argentinas moust important game, and veron didnt play there).

Apparently it is all over the captaincy - read this article:

Some of these problems within the Argentine squad ring alarm bells for me. That said this is the best quality of players they have had for some time. Probably the only team that would be able to deservedly beat Brazil in the tournament.

well everyone has its own opinion, imo its europe teams who actually could give argentina more headache than brazil, after all both teams are from same continent and have played often.

holland has a chanse, though they dont have as good team as they have had before, but thats the thing, they will be underrated because lots of Big names have retired.

I see an upset happening in this group, with argentina or holland possibly going out in the group stages. Ivory coast did well in the africans nations cup and I certainly wouldnt underestimate them despite the CAF and WC incomprable.

for the sake of a good tournament in the latter stages,i hope both holland and argentina make it through to the 2nd round.no offence intended, but im seriously not too fond of teams like south korea killing off the giants to make it far in the torunament.its been a while since the latter stages of the tournament involved all the big teams.im hoping it will happen this time.
