Just two games into the Serie A season, and already a loss for Massimo Moratti’s Inter. It really does seem that Inter will never be able to get out of their Scudetto jinx. It’s been since 1989 that the Nerazzurri have failed to clinch Lo Scudetto. Will they fail again this season, or will they be able to bounce back from the humiliation suffered at the hands of Palermo?

well,will they?

i think inter will fail yet again.
mancini is a very good manager, but inter need someone like mourinho who can fire up a team,or someone like capello who can grind out results even when the team isnt playing well.

I can't judge anything from two games, like someone said we play better away from home than in the Delle Alpi....

The media are absolutely hilarious. After having a splendid pre-season which included a Supercup victory over Juve, Inter are being tipped to win their first Scudetto since I can't remember when. Everyone was hailing Inter as a massive threat to the two clubs who bossed the chase for Serie A glory last term, as potential favourites, and a couple of weeks later they are being questioned. Where have I seen this before? Why does it seem so very familiar? Maybe because it's the same damn story every year! Inter spend big in the transfer market, they are expected to win trophies by fans and journalists alike, and what do they do time and time again? Fail to produce the goods. Could this finally be their season? Perhaps, but it is far too early to tell. If Inter get it right in 05-06 then it's about time, but don't be too surprised if they don't.

The season just started guys....lets hold our horses...
    Yeah... what Azzurri7 said.

But until Inter can raise the trophy, they can talk and squalk all they want. Until they've proven they can do it, it's all hot air burning up a lot of cash.

They have a very impressive squad this year, an apparent new string of successes, a coach who is fitting in with the club, etc...

but, how many times have we heard that before?
