Please No Molinaro , he only performed well when we won againts Reggina , and most of the game he was quiet dissapointed . Ranieri should play another option in the LB .
and sorry to say , I really miss Balzaretti . please compare Balzaretti performance last season with Molinaro in this season :disagree: a Blunder by our board :faq1:
Againts Parma , i expected another 3 points .
Should not be a difficult job, but please not the straight 4-4-2

Should not be a difficult job, but please not the straight 4-4-2
I think 442 with tiago is a great option as with Nocerino--Zanetti we lack creativity in the center and against Parma we will be trying to break them down... so Tiago in the center with Camo on the right is just what we need.
I think Palla should also start the match over Nedved who should come from the bench after his disappointingly play against Inter... Give him something to reflect and we can bring him on when Camo gets a little tired, moving Palla to the left.
I am not too sure if Ale should start this match but him or Iaquinta is fine...
I am excited about this match as we can take the confidence from our performance against Inter into it with us.
This is a important game to see if we have turned another corner. Also another 3 very important points for us at stake with a very tough game against Palermo the game after.
Lets hope the guys can rest, relax and recover this week while Inter and the other big teams play in the CL.
:pint:
Yep, Tiago can sure handle this team...
We need to stop dropping points, we are moving away from CL spots!

can't see what is so funny but anyway:
Nedved is suspended, so we won't have to see another horrid game from him. Iaquinta and Camo must start if they are fit enough. DP good first half against Inter, but i believe he should start on the bench for this one
I don't know what is up Nedved's ass, man :disagree:
How about something like:
_________Buffon
Zebina Legro Chiellini Molinaro
___Tiago Zanetti Nocerino
_______Camoranesi
____Iaquinta Trezeguet

On paper it looks fantastic, however Camo has been tried in the middle a lot and always drifted to the right. Though yesterday he was quite effective going through the middle, especially his first run through their defense and a great through ball...
Who knows, maybe Tinkerman can adjust him a new role, he sure as hell has the qualities to play there.
The conversion worked for Figo.
Figo was/is more versatile.
camo can make the difference again in this game , he is the only player who can give creativity to juve attack , i think juve won when they played with parma away in coppa italia , we have to do it again.
I don't know what is up Nedved's ass, man :disagree:
Ahmedios the anal canon maybe ?
tricky game, hope we can get a win here...we beat them earlier in Coppa Italia so we can take that confidence with us

I think 4-4-2 would work well now that Camo is back. We also have Marchionni and Palladino as options on the wings.
In the central midfield: Tiago and Zanetti
Defense: Zebina/Grygera, Chiellini, Legro, Brazzo/Molinaro
Attack: Iaquinta and Del Piero/Trezeguet
Let´s win against struggling Parma to keep the pace and cement our place in the top 4.

How about playing Criscito on the left? He can't be worse than Molinaro imo.

Has been suggested a lot around here. I think Ranieri should give it a try. It's obvious Molinaro is under par, and Ciscito needs playing time...
parma really shouldn't cause much problems, and i think it's time to try criscito in that LB role and i still think tha brazzo is best at RB. my line up:
---------------Buffon
----------Legro---Chiellini
Sali---------------------------Criscito
---------Nocerino---Zanetti
-----------------Camo
Iaqunita-------Trez----------Palladino
Well, against Parma, I would like to see this
----------------------Buffon-------------------
Zebina---Legrottaglie---Chiellini---Molinaro
-------------Zanetti-------Nocerino----------
-------Camoranesi--------Palladino---------
--------------Iaquinta----Trezeguet---------
With Palla and Camo changing positions and being our creative force! Should work.

but only in this match coz i'd hate to see chiellini not playin in the middle.

Ive been thinking the same thing too. Camo is intelligent in terms of line hugging and drifting into the centre that him being back might mean 4-4-2 will do okay.
Iaquinta, Palladino, Camo and Tiago should start this game, four defenders, and Buffon.

as for my formation would be
zebina /grygera ------legro ---- chill------ crisito

we should try crisito i think he could be better then molinaro coz as for goin forward molinaro just suck since parma's isnt tht good we can take tht risk might be worth it

True, but Trezeguet should be rested somehow I think. Not because he didn't score against Inter, but it's good to rotate it from time to time.
Anyway, with Mauro - Iaquinta and Palla there's lot of speed and creativity, maybe we wouldn't need lot of finishing.
Del Piero must start this one. He's doing fairly well against the minows. I prefer to see him and Nedved ( it's a shame he's suspended) against Parma or Siena or Reggina than against Palermo in the next round.
Give Trez a rest and include him only if the result won't suit us. Iaquinta indeed plays better wide, but he made his name as a target man and it's not like he forgot to score goals. With Camo and Marchionni available we have an option on the right side and we can put Iaquinta to replace Trez.
My formation :
-------------------Buffon--------------------
Zebina/Grygera-Legro-Chiellini-Molinaro
-------------Zanetti------- Tiago-----------
Camoranesi ----------------------Palladino

I'm afraid this formation will limit some of Tiago's abilities but then again he played with Juninho, so in your formation Camoranesi can be the Juninho.
Ok, now I'm confused which is better, your formation or Alen's.
This is the exact formation that I want to see.
And i'll put Zebina instead of Grygera.
I didn't see much of Parma this year. I only watched them against Milan.
On that match Reginaldo played terriffic football. He operated on the left side of the attack and Milan's right back (i think Oddo played RB on that match) and especially Nesta, were being rapped for 90 minutes by him. There is a rumour that Nesta bought a compass right after the match finished.
Now, if he plays the some role against us, our right back and Legrottaglie will have to stop him because the second attacker (Corradi or Pisano) play more in the middle or the right and Chiellini will take care of them. Reginaldo is a great dribbler and he's very fast. I think Zebina has better characteristics than Grygera to stop this kind of player. I know it's a risk and with Zebina-Reginaldo duel we're risking to lose Zebina due to cards, but it's a risk i'm willing to take.
And we must take an advantage of Couto. He's really slow nowdays. Iaquinta mustn't disappoint with Couto as his guard.
I hope Palladino will be in the start up formation. He was man of the match against Internazionale. All the minutes he played this season he did very well.

One thing is for sure... Palladino and Iaquinta played their way into a starting role, at least for now. Ranieri claims that he always selects the players that show the most, lets see if he proves it against Parma.
Here's what I would do:
Buffon
Zebina-Legrottaglie-Chiellini-Criscito
-------------Zanetti------- Tiago------------
Camoranesi ----------------------Palladino
Trezeguet-Iaquinta
Del Piero and Nedved would sub on as needed in the second half.
Edit: I should add that Nocerino would likely sub out Tiago should the game require a greater emphasis on defense. This formation is a relatively high octane one designed to pump goals in the back of Parma's net.

I like the formation, but put Palla up front and Marchionni on the side... DP and Nedved are in bad shape...I expected more from "capitano" but he isn't nearly at the leavel that he was 2 years ago (he is just to slow)...Ok Pavel, has been whit us from 2001...so 6,5 years and he is only now, heaving a bed period...we love u, you crazy Czech ;)
My formation for Parma game:
Zebina---Legro---Chiellini---Birindeli
Camo---Zanetti---Tiago---Marchionni
-------Iaquinta----Palladino
Bench: Bilardi, Grygera, Molinaro, Salihamiđič, Nocerino, Almiron, Trezeguet, DP...

1.Camoranesi won't be able to play the whole game so, Sali on the side or Nocerino in the middle (4-3-3)
2.DP for Palladino
3.hmmmmm i don't know...Maybe if we play 4-3-3 Treze 4 Marchionni?

I prefer Arif's as I'm sick and tired of the straight 4-4-2. Camoranesi behind that front three looks brilliant, and if we start to come under pressure we could easily revert to the nasty 4-4-2. Against a side like Parma we should be able to run them with the 4-3-3. Enough of these ugly displays.

Yes, I am also tired of the 4-4-2 but a player like Tiago changes the shape of the formation, the same way he did against Empoli in the second half.
Here's how a Parma squad looks like nowadays:
Formazione
99 Pavarini
33 Coly
13 Rossi
28 Paci
7 Castellini
23 Dessena
55 Parravicini
4 Morrone
83 Reginaldo
18 Gasbarroni
32 Corradi
Haven't seen them play yet. They stand 14th, one point ahead of Lazio. Last result: 2-2 vs Siena.
I would like to see this
Buffon
Zebina-Leggro-Chiellini-Molianaro/Sali
Nocerino-Tiago-Zanetti
Camo
Trezeguet-Palla
And i would play Iaquinta in 2nd half.
Will that Ferdinand Coly dude be there? He made things a bit difficult when we played them in the Coppa.
Another thing - I guess we all agree that the midfield lacks creativity and I just wanted to ask something,... Other than Platini, Baggio and more recently Zizou, have Juve ever really had a strict playmaker? It makes me feel non creative midfielders arent that shocking for us....Emerson, Blasi, Paolo Sousa, Conte, Deschamps, Davids to name some who had partnerships..

I was only impressed by Morrone & Coly, other than these 2,the whole team is below average & we will hopefully come home with the 3 points.

Gazzetta are good for educated guesses based on pattern. I would bet that is essentially the starting lineup with possibly Tiago, Iaquinta, Zebina and/or Criscito displacing someone. Iaquinta being the most likely.
I would also be surprised if Marchionni is not on the bench.
The only good thing about Gazzetta's info is that you know who are the injured, suspended, and one yellow from being suspended players, for every team in serie A.

Still, I don't see Inter the fav in that game.... Even when we were at our best during Lippi's time we never looked fav against Lazio. You may look better than them on papers, but you can never think that you're a fav.
Lazio will always be Lazio, it's not easy to win on them no matter what position you are and what position they're.

Marchionni off for Camoranesi, one of Trez or Iaquinta off for Del Piero, Molinaro in place of the other one, to finish with this formation:

you have to support like 7 teams and say you support them equally, then give match reports of games by copying someone else and putting it as your own. Then you have to say things like, well you know what

What´s up with Marchionni? He was given just 5 mins vs Empoli and then he didn´t even make it to the bench vs Inter. Is he working on his match fitness? Is he ready to start a game?
I like this playa, he impressed me several time last season and I prefer to see him on the left/right wing than Palladino. Palladino should move forward IMO even though he isn´t bad on the wing.

i dont care who plays where i just want 3 POINTS FORZA JUVEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!....sorry too much candy ;)
I didnt know how bad things were for Lazio in terms of finances till I discovered last week that their highest paid player (Rocchi) earns 7000 ponds per week whilst Delio earns 6000!! The dudes just aint what they used to be but hopefully they'll pull a fast one on Inter.
This just gets me thinking - 2000 to around 2002 must have been difficult Serie A years with Juve, Roma, Lazio, Milan and Inter all being very powerfull squads
yet ANOTHER game that won't be televised in North America :faq2:

Ive been thinkin on this too. U get the feelin Fiorentina will run out of steam soon. I feel we need this to happen sooner rather than later coz I'm sure Milan, though performing shit, will string a decent run some time that'll put them into the top 4 tussle. After watching Lazio-Bremen highlights, there's a big chance that Lazio could upset Inter. And yeah, I'd rather see Fiorentina Udinese picking 1point each than Fiorentina winning.
Fiorentina will have an UEFA Cup match on Thursday. Udinese are solid enough to take an advantage of Viola's tired legs.
I doubt Lazio will surprise Inter thou. Laziali have proven that they are too thin on the bench to play equally successful in Italy and Europe. Right after a CL match they play awful on the weekend. They lost all 3 matches that followed after CL (Atalanta 1:2, Milan 1:5, Udinese 0:1) and Pandev is still doubtful for Sunday.

Paci Looking Forward To Juve Game
The defender of Parma is itching to play against the Bianconeri this weekend when the Gialloblu host the Old Lady at the Tardini stadium for the 12th matchday of Serie A.
Massimo Paci spoke about the upcoming game awaiting Parma which will be against fourth placed Juventus who are in need of points to continue challenging for the league title.
The Parma player revealed that he does not fancy the Old Lady very much, but is wary of their current form.
"Sincerely, I don't like the Bianconeri much," admitted the young player. "Now Juve is a team which never gives up till the last minute.
"We need more personality and better capacity to manage some phases of the game," continued Paci.
"Against Juventus we will therefore have to plat that match of the year. If we make any mistakes, Juve will punish us," concluded the defender.

Never heard of him either. Apparently he was with us in 1998-1999 season (he was 20). Due to injury in the preparation he was set aside, and didn't see a single minute of play.
He went back where he came from, Ancona, then moved slowly up through Viterbese Ternana, and Lecce. Then was bought by Genoa, but loaned out to Ascoli as Genoa was demoted and Ascoli played in A.
Parma bought him and now he plays his second season there.
He's just sour that he didn't succeed at Juve, but considering the time it took him to get back at a modest Serie A club we didn't miss anything.

Juventus and Inter tifosi will be closely watched during the next games. They have often been sources of trouble during away games and could be banned for more away games if trouble were to continue
Training and thinking about Parma
Juventus are busy at work preparing for the next League game. Sunday afternoon the Bianconeri will play at Parma for Day 12 of Serie A.
This will be one last effort before another League break. Indeed next week the National teams will take centre stage again, to play the last and decisive qualifying games for the 2008 European Championship Finals.
After drawing with League leaders Inter Milan, Ranieri's men will have to face Parma for the second time this season: the two teams already met at the end of August in an Italian Cup fixture. That match was also played at the Tardini Stadium and Juve won 3-1 on the night thanks to goals by Molinaro, Almiron and Salihamidzic.
Juventus will yet again face an on-form team. Di Carlo's men come from a string of three positive results (even if last Sunday Siena ruined the party by equalizing against them in the final minutes of the match) and at home they've only lost to Roma, apart from the already mentioned Italian Cup game.
Despite already playing there in August, it’ll be another special game for Claudio Ranieri, as he faces the Club that called him back to Italy only last February and that he was able to save from relegation in what was definitely a very impressive feat. The Manager isn't the only former Parma man; both Gigi Buffon and Marco Marchionni used to play there before joining Juventus. On the opponents' side, Gasbarroni and Paci both played for Juventus in the past.
The last League game played at Parma between the two clubs took place at the beginning of the 2005/06 season: Juventus won 2-1 that time, with goals by Camoranesi and Vieira.

I agree. I would use this match against parma to bring back marchionni and camoranesi to the starting lineup and play tiago and almiron in the central midfield. Tiago and Almiron should be given another chance to impress and hopefully they werent both big wastes of money. If the first half is ugly then make the chances. I don't care if we beat them 1-0 by an own goal for fucks sake but i want us to gain ground on inter this is an immensely important weakened we face a weak parma side and they face lazio who have a lot to prove.

I dont think Tiago and Almiron together, as none of them can defend well...we need a defensive midfielder to play alongside Tiago (prefer him to Almiron), and that could be Zanetti or Nocerino...and Palla could play on the left wing...
We Shall Attack Juve - Castellini
The Parma defender believes that the best way to beat the Bianconeri is by assaulting them from the very first minute in what should be a difficult game for the Crociati.
Paolo Castellini is looking forward to Sunday's Serie A clash against Juventus, in a game which Parma have been waiting for a long time to play.
"It is surely an important match; in this season we already had a taste in the Coppa Italia, and even between us players, there is a different atmosphere for this game," explained the Parma defender.
"Playing against Juventus, that is against a great team, motivates you and gives you responsibilities because you know that people care about this game in a particular way," he continued. "Let's say it's like a small derby."
For Castellini there is only one way how to beat Juventus.
"We shall have to attack Juventus. This will be our spirit for Sunday's game. In my opinion, the 210% must be given in all games, but it's normal that there are games in which the people ask for more and we shall try to give it."

Fukin shit :( I just red this too. Ankle injury. They say he'll also be missing Scotland-Italia so it looks like another sideliner!!
In light of this - I would say Tiago should start in midfield though I know this wont happen. Marchionni is not very creative. He's more of a run and low cross kinda guy imo so if we see
Palla-----Zanetti---Nocerino---Marcho
I dont expect an improvement in our game play. Worse still, I actually see Saliha starting this one at RW guaranteeing that our game will be a battling type, nothing special to watch
Don´t tell me Camo is injured again. :depressed
Right ankle injury. I think he picked it up yesterday against Primavera.
What sucks is that he'll probably play against Scotland, without being 100% ready and he may easily return from there with another injury.
We're rushing with Camo. He wasn't prepared in September and since it was an emergency at MR we took the risk. We lost him for almost 2 months.
Now again he's not ready to play full matches and he picked up another injury. Italians will need his services against Scotland and since he's still fragile chances are big we may lose him again.
I hope he won't be available for the match in Scotland. I don't give a shit about Italian NT, i care only about Juve and i want Camo 100% ready for Juve.

I think Camo's injury news is just a way to make Donadoni look to somebody else. I think he'll be ready for Parma.
Del Piero should celebrate his 33rd birthday with a classy act like always.
And just to give some good news regarding Parma:
Couto is absent because he spitted on another player.
Budan is injured.
Goddamnit, Camo's injury better not be serious!
Anyway, Ranieri seems intent on trying to bring Almiron and Tiago back on track. If Camo is fit for the parma game, Almiron will probably play to preserve more of a balance. If Camo isn't ready, Tiago will probably play in front of Zanetti. There's even a small chance Tiago and Almiron might start together.

Serie A Preview: Parma - Juventus
Who: Parma (13th, 11 points) vs. Juventus (4th, 21 points)
When: Sunday, November 11 2007, kick-off 15:00 CET
Where: Stadio Ennio Tardini, Parma
http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=475944
This twelfth round clash at the Ennio Tardini in Parma features two sides with contrasting fortunes. The home side are looking set for another season spent hovering around the relegation zone while visiting Juventus are intent on making a return to the lucrative UEFA Champions League, of not more.
Of course, it is also a return for Claudio Ranieri, who less than six months ago rescued Parma from certain relegation.
Parmigiani under pressure
Ducali boss Domenico di Carlo is under immense stress to turn his side?s form around and today goes head-to-head with the man who saved Parma from relegation last season, Claudio Ranieri.
The Giallorossi would have been hoping and expecting their side to make an improvement from last season and challenge for a place near the top half of the table. They find themselves languishing once again and a mini-revival will be required just for Di Carlo to keep his job.
Defence has been Parma?s problem this season having conceded 19 times this season. Only Livorno have leaked more goals at the back and there is no doubt that Parma will struggle to contain current top scorer Trezeguet in this clash.
Going forward, I Crociati look good and despite having key marksman Igor Budan out injured, Bernado Corradi and co. have had no difficulties in finding the net. Parma will find the going tough in this one, as Juve do not look like dropping points and do not have any serious defensive weaknesses for the Gialloblu to exploit.
Containing Juventus? powerful forward line will be truly testing on Parma?s defence.
Bianconeri taking care of business
Juve have returned from Serie B and are going about their task of returning to the top of calcio with less fanfare than expected. Sitting fourth a quarter of the way through the season, the Bianconeri are poised to play Champions League football once again next year.
They are not heavy favourites for the Scudetto as they usually were during the pre-Calciopoli days but are every chance to be crowned Italian champions come May should they remain consistent for the remainder of the season and it is matches like these that Juve must always win.
With hitman David Trezeguet firing goals for fun and a sturdy backline, the Old Lady are looking good and showed their steel to score an equaliser in the Derby D?Italia against Inter last week. Not having to compete regularly in Europe will also leave the Bianconeri stars refreshed and able to feature in more league action.
Expect Juve to come out firing and with their strike power they should win this match. Parma?s defence has struggled all season and when face with Trez, Del Piero and co. they will likely crumble.

TEAM NEWS
Parma
Key injuries for Parma include those to striker Igor Budan as well as Giuseppe Cardone and veteran Fernando Couto who has one match left to serve on a spitting ban. Bernado Corradi will play as a lone striker with ex-Juve player Andrea Gasbarroni behind him.
Possible Starting XI: Pavarini; Coly, Rossi, Paci, Castellini; Dessena, Parravicini, Morrone, Reginaldo, Gasbarroni; Corradi
Juventus
I Bianconeri are without central defenders Jorge Andrade and Jean-Alain Boumsong, although the latter?s absence will add strength to the Juve back four. Legrottaglie and Chiellini will take up the central defensive roles while Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved is suspended following his ugly tackle on Inter star Luis Figo. Mauro Camoranesi is a major doubt for this match and is unlikely to feature.
Possible Starting XI: Buffon; Grygera, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Molinaro; Almiron, Nocerino, Zanetti, Palladino; Del Piero, Trezeguet
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Bernado Corradi (Parma)
The former Lazio and Manchester City striker has scored four times in eight matches and will be Parma?s key man up front. Corradi is in fine form and will relish the opportunity to find the net against one of Serie A?s big boys.
David Trezeguet (Juventus) The French forward is enjoying his return to Serie A leading the Capocannoniere charts having found the net 10 times from the first 11 matches. Trez was so close to leaving Juve following their return from Serie B but signed a new deal and is now firing goals for the Bianconeri in career best form.
PREDICTION
Parma are struggling at the moment and while Juventus haven?t exactly been setting the world on fire either, they have solid form and will use this match to consolidate their top four position. Expect Juve?s class to show through.
Parma 0-3 Juventus

Tiago and Almiron doesn't work and it shows how much we relay on Zanetti. on the other side, it seems that we became one of the best teams in italy in producing some Young talents. each year the Primavera is better than the year before.
But guess what, they'll get loaned out to a bad Serie A side and struggle because of their teammates.

3 chages are needed before it gets my . Palla <-> Del Piero, Criscito <-> Legro, Nocerino <-> Almiron.
Of course I wouldnt mind playin Legro instead of Criscito,I just thought why dont give the boy another chance.
As for Palla I think he deserves to start this one,he brings pace & skills on the wing & I am really a fan of his way of playing, buy it will als
